A new welcome sign for the front porch

I think my love of home decorating began when I was in college.  I would walk through the neighborhoods surrounding my campus and look at all the houses.  I would dream a little dream about what houses I loved and what I would do differently to each one.  Then I would wander around the different department stores and plan all the rooms in my future dream house.

Spring has sprung at the Roane home!

Spring has finally arrived in New England! Everywhere I look I see flowers popping up .  It is such a welcome sight after the harsh winter we endured.  Over the last couple of years we have been slowly adding perennial gardens to the house. I have a grand plan in my head for what I want my gardens to look like when I am done.
